Mostly tracked live to tape over a few days with Daniel Durham (upright bass) and Aaron Parks (drums) at Good Danny's with Grant Johnson at the engineering helm, this group of songs leans whimsical and electric, with a couple of piano tunes - and a few instrumentals. Themes include tricks of the light, polarity shifts, birds, love, mortality- and likening a kiss to a prayer, or a whistling to having a bird stuck in one's mouth.

Wilson Marks studied jazz in New Orleans and tacos in Austin TX. Pop-sensible melodies over technical, jazz-inspired fretwork. His voice is one part gravel (a la Tom Waits), one part whimsical (more like Harry Nilsson).
